Reminder: Women in STEM talk at Oregon State, April 30
OHSU resarchers have been invited to a lecture and workshop by Sue V. Rosser, Ph.D., Provost at San Francisco State University and expert in bridging women’s studies and the sciences, at Oregon State University in Corvallis on April 30, 2012. The talks will be about advancing opportunities for women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Her workshop for STEM faculty and administrators focuses on how National Science Foundation ADVANCE Institutional Transformation grants have especially helped women in STEM. Dr. Rosser will also give a talk titled, “Breaking into the Lab: Engineering Careers for Women in Science,” based on her latest book bearing the same title.
