OHSU Research Week schedule now available, May 7-10

A detailed schedule is now available for OHSU’s first Research Week, which will be taking place May 7-10, 2012. Research Week will celebrate our research mission and provides avenues for new opportunities for collaboration across the institution. Along with poster presentations and research-focused talks, there will be three keynote speakers:

  • Nora Disis, MD: Professor of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Pathology and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington, and a Member of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She is the Associate Dean for Translational Science in the UW School of Medicine.
  • Mary Woolley: President of Research!America, the nation’s largest not-for-profit, membership supported grassroots public education and advocacy organization committed to making medical and health research a higher national priority.
  • Darlene Francis Ph.D.: Assistant Professor of Public Health and Neuroscience at the University of California, Berkeley.
