Effort Reporting and Salary Cap Classes at West Campus

Enrollment is now open for “Effort Reporting” and “DHHS Salary Cap” at West Campus on Tuesday, March 6. Attendees of Effort Reporting will gain a detailed understanding of why and how we maintain this important process. The “nuts and bolts” guide to the DHHS Salary Cap course covers the history and regulations, including the December 2011 changes, and translates those into practical applications, specifically pertaining to salary distribution, cost sharing and certifying effort. More information about these courses is posted at the Research Administration Training & Education (RATE) web pages.

Effort Reporting is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and DHHS Salary Cap runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., both at West Campus. Registration through TrainingForce is required. Courses are listed in the Research Administration category from the “View” tab in the TrainingForce menu bar. If you’d rather attend the DHHS Salary Cap class on Marquam Hill, there are still a few spots left for next Tuesday afternoon, February 28. For questions, please contact Margaret Gardner.
