$500 prize for Postdoc Paper of the Year, submissions due Dec. 31
Applications for the School of Medicine Alumni Association Postdoc Paper of the Year Award are due December 31, 2011. The purpose of this annual award is to recognize the importance and quality of laboratory research conducted by School of Medicine postdoctoral fellows. A $500 prize will be awarded to the individual whose paper is selected. The winner will also present his or her paper at the annual Student Research Forum in May 2012. Entrants whose papers are selected as finalists must be available to present a 5-minute summary of their paper to the Alumni Association judging panel on the evening of April 13, 2012.
Requirements:
- Open to basic science department postdoctoral fellows;
- Postdoc must be the primary author of the paper;
- Paper can be published or ready for publication (manuscripts must be “in press” or published prior to the end of March 2012); and
- Paper must be original research, not a review article.
