When do I apply for which award? A timeline for NIH grants and fellowships
With our Writing an Effective Training Plan seminar coming up next week, we were excited to find this chart on the NIH Extramural News blog this morning. With so many different mechanisms available, sometimes it’s hard to know which award to apply for and when. While not comprehensive, this chart gives a helpful, at-a-glance overview of the funding mechanisms NIH offers. The Extramural News blog chose to highlight NIH training and career development awards today because it is the last day to submit your feedback on the future of the biomedical research workforce. We’ll keep you posted as information from the Advisory Committee to the NIH Director becomes available.
In the meantime, hopefully we’ll see you at our Funding Focus seminar next Thursday.
