Nora Volkov, MD, Sept 15 lecture canceled
This year’s final OHSU Brain Awareness presenter, Nora Volkov, M.D., director of the National Institute of Drug Abuse, has regretfully informed OHSU officials that, due to personal circumstances beyond her control, she must cancel her September 15 lecture in Portland.
OHSU and Dr. Volkow sincerely apologize to ticket buyers for any inconvenience. Those who purchased tickets can get refunds from the outlet where they purchased the tickets. OHSU Brain Awareness Season officials are working to reschedule Dr. Volkow for the spring of 2012.
