NIH wants your feedback on the Future Biomedical Research Workforce
An advisory committee to the NIH Director on the Future Biomedical Research Workforce seeks feedback from the extramural community—including students, postdocs, independent investigators, NIH-funded institutions, and the general public. The purpose of the advisory committee is to:
“Develop a model for a sustainable, diverse, and productive U.S. biomedical research workforce using appropriate expertise from NIH and external resources. The model will help inform decisions about how to train the optimal number of people for the appropriate types of positions that will advance science and promote health.”
For more information or to submit a response, view the NIH notice (NOT-OD-11-106).
