Changes in OCTRI biostatistics services

Due to budget cuts at NIH, OCTRI will no longer be able to provide biostatistics support for anyone except OCTRI Scholars. (What is an OCTRI Scholar?) This includes the weekly drop-in sessions, which will no longer be offered as of July 2011.

  • OCTRI Scholars (investigators applying for or implementing K awards or first R01) who require biostatistics support should contact OCTRI Research Navigator Program at octri@ohsu.edu or 503-418-9790 to  make arrangements.
  •

  • If your department or division has an arrangement with the Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Public Health & Preventive Medicine, you can contact your designated biostatistics consultant for biostatistics support. If you are unsure whether your unit has such an arrangement, contact your department chair.
  •

  • If your department, center, or institute is interested in arranging biostatistics support, please contact Dr. Tomi Mori, Head of Division of Biostatistics, Department of Public Health & Preventive Medicine (morim@ohsu.edu, 503-418-1555).
Please help us spread the news to your department and colleagues who may be affected by this change.
