On Thursday, President Robertson announced OHSU’s new provost: Jeanette Mladenovic, M.D., M.B.A., M.A.C.P. (that’s Mal-DEN-o-vic). Dr. Mladenovic comes to OHSU from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where she serves as senior associate dean. In addition to her experience in university administration, Dr. Mladenovic has also spent time in the lab doing research. She received her bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Washington, completed training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Stanford University, and received her M.B.A. at the University of Miami.
Dr. Mladenovic is excited to return to the Pacific Northwest and join OHSU this fall, and is looking forward to working on the OUS/OHSU Collaborative Life Sciences building that’s in the works.
