Cancer research funding for junior faculty, internal applications due July 8
Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research has invited OHSU to submit two applications for its research grants program, which provides $75,000 per year for three years to promising new investigators conducting research that can be applied to improving the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies. OHSU may submit one proposal for each of the following categories:
- Conventional or mainstream research
- Integrative Medicine research (e.g. those using complementary therapies or botanical agents)
The Foundation is committed to funding innovative, translational proposals and strongly prefers to support junior faculty investigators rather than well-established senior scientists.
If you are interested in applying, please submit your CV, a 1-5 page research summary, and a letter of support by Friday, July 8, 2011 using the limited submission form. One candidate selected by OHSU will have until September 2, 2011 to submit their full application to the Foundation.
