More Department of Defense funding opportunities
The Department of Defense (DoD), best known for its breast and prostate cancer research programs, has released the remainder of its funding opportunities for 2011. While DoD funding is undoubtedly competitive, it can be a great fit for innovative, high-risk research proposals in a number of disease-specific areas. The following mechanisms are being offered this year:
