Integrity Week: IRB Town Hall Meeting, May 4
How is OHSU protecting the rights and welfare of human research subjects? As an employee, what are my responsibilities for the safe conduct of research? The Institutional Review Board (IRB) has the answers.
Join us for our annual IRB Town Hall meeting, Updates on Human Research Policies, Wednesday, May 4 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in UHS 8B60. This important presentation will include the following topics:
- Research Repository Policy Update
- Re-Consenting subjects
- Obtaining consent of minors
- Changes in liability language and billing schedule
- ORIO move to Bancroft
- Many Other Updates on Policies & Procedures
Refreshments will be provided and complimentary laptop bags will be available for those who arrive early! This event is open to the public and no registration is required.
This Town Hall meeting is part of a week-long schedule of events for Integrity Week including the first annual Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee Town Hall to be held on Wednesday, May 4 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in UHS 8B60. The Institutional Biosafety Committee will conduct the Lentiviral and Viral Vector Workshop on Thursday, May 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Richard Jones Hall room 4340.
