Integrity Week: IACUC Town Hall Meeting, May 4

How is OHSU protecting the rights and welfare of animal research subjects? As an employee, what are my responsibilities for the safe conduct of research? The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) has the answers.

Join us for our first annual IACUC Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, May 4 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in UHS 8B60. The presentation will include the following topics:

  • Introduction to the new Research Integrity Officer for Central and Waterfront Campus
  • Introduction to the new IACUC Chair for Central and West Campus
  • A brief update on the Guide

Refreshments will be provided and complimentary laptop bags will be available for those who arrive early!  This meeting is open to the public and no registration is required.

This Town Hall meeting is part of a week-long schedule of events for Integrity Week including the Institutional Review Board Town Hall to be held on Wednesday, May 4 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in UHS 8B60.  The Institutional Biosafety Committee will conduct the Lentiviral and Viral Vector Workshop on Thursday, May 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Richard Jones Hall room 4340.
