Ronald Sakaguchi to discuss dentistry’s research education grant, May 4
Ronald Sakaguchi, DDS, MS, PhD, MBA, professor of restorative dentistry, will be leading a seminar on the School of Dentistry’s NIH R25 Research Education Grant on Wednesday, May 4. The seminar will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. in the School of Dentistry Room 606. The objectives of the seminar will be:
- To review the impact of the R25 grant on the School of Dentistry;
- To understand the imperative for critical thinking and scientific research competency in the pre-doctoral curriculum;
- To understand how and where projects can be implemented throughout the pre-doctoral curriculum to sustain growth in critical thinking and research competency by our students; and
- To understand how the faculty can reinforce critical thinking and scientific reasoning by our students.
