OHSU researchers make discovery in treating childhood muscle cancer
Researchers at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, (from left) Jinu Abraham, Ph.D., Suman Malempati, M.D., and Charles Keller, M.D., have recently identified a novel approach to overcoming drug resistance in children with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, an aggressive and frequently fatal muscle cancer. Their paper will be featured on the cover of next month’s Molecular Cancer Therapeutics, but it’s also available to view now on the journal’s website.
