Call for nominations: 2011 Dr. Paul Janssen Award for Biomedical Research
The Dr. Paul Janssen Award for Biomedical Research has opened its 2011 call for nominations. Sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, the $100,000 Award recognizes scientists in academic and industrial research around the world – including in the field of biomedical engineering – whose efforts have made transformational contributions towards the improvement of human health.
Nomination forms are located online and will be accepted until February 15, 2011. Award nominees will be evaluated by an independent selection committee of researchers from around the world. Selection guidelines and a list of previous winners can be found on the award website. The 2011 Dr. Paul Janssen Award winner will be announced in the second half of 2011.
