Phys/Pharm Brookhart Lecture: Jeffrey Friedman, MD, PhD – Oct 26
Jeffrey M. Friedman, M.D, Ph.D, investigator at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and professor of molecular genetics at Rockefeller University, will be presenting a lecture titled, “Leptin and the Biologic Basis of Obesity,” for the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology’s 20th annual John M. Brookhart Lecture. The lecture will be held Tuesday, October 26 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the OHSU Auditorium. Following the lecture, Dr. Friedman, and Daniel Marks, M.D., Ph.D., associate professor of pediatrics at OHSU, will lead a forum on childhood obesity.
