Maternal nutrition expert David Barker, MD, PhD, featured in Time article
Earlier this week, time published, “How the First Nine Months Shape the Rest of Your Life,” an article that highlights the findings of OHSU professor, David Barker, M.D., Ph.D. As one of the first scientists to link inadequate prenatal nutrition to heart disease, Dr. Barker’s findings have led to numerous other studies about the impact of a mother’s physical and mental health on her offspring.
Catch Dr. Barker giving a lecture on “Prenatal Life and Adult Onset Disease” at OHSU’s Maternal Nutrition Symposium, Wednesday, October 27 at 8:40 a.m. in the Old Library Auditorium.
