New Emerging Technology Fund for OHSU Investigators
OHSU investigators are invited to apply for a new fund for cutting-edge technology: the Emerging Technology Fund. Its purpose is to provide funds to purchase equipment or technology needed to conduct state-of-the-art research–whether this equipment is new instrumentation that has not been available at OHSU or whether it is to replace equipment that has become obsolete because of major advances in technology.
This program is designed to begin where the NIH S10 program leaves off: at equipment costing $500,000 or more. The fund will have $1 million for fiscal year 2011. Funds may be awarded to a group of investigators; a department, center, or institute; or a university core facility.
A letter of interest is due to Research Funding & Development Services by November 5th, and a short application is due December 6th. Questions? Write to funding@ohsu.edu.
