Seminar: Maintaining your rights as an author – Oct 22
Are you are an author, do you have interest in open access practice and policy, or do you want to hear more about issues concerning information sharing and publication? If so, join OHSU Scholarly Communications on Friday, October 22 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in BICC 429 for the 2010 Open Access Week Seminar, “Rights Well: Resources for Maintaining Your Rights as an Author” by Faye Chadwell.
Faye A. Chadwell is the Interim University Librarian at Oregon State University in October 2010. She is presently serving on the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC) Steering Committee, and has spoken on authors rights, licensing e-resources, and other collection related topics at numerous venues. She has served as the editor of Collection Management, a Taylor and Francis journal since July 2007. Fay received a B.A. and M. A. in English from Appalachian State University and an MLS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
