Funding available for Animal and Biological Material Resource Centers
The National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) seeks applications using the P40 mechanism for Animal and Biological Material Resource Centers (PAR-11-001). Centers can serve one of two purposes: (1) to provide support for special colonies of laboratory animals, or (2) to provide data, materials, tools, or services that support research projects on animal model systems. Centers will provide support and resources to the biomedical community locally, regionally, and nationally.
To be considered competitive for this award, proposals must address the needs of at least two NIH Institutes or Centers. Applicants are highly encouraged to contact NCRR to discuss the competitiveness of their application.
For more information, including a list of deadlines (standard dates apply), and funding information (awards vary), see the full announcement.
