Dentistry Seminar: Hazard Communication, Safety, and Infection Control – Oct 6
On October 6, 2010, Karla S. Kent, MA, PhD, Health & Safety Officer and Associate Professor of Integrative Biosciences at OHSU will be leading a seminar called Hazard Communication, Safety, and Infection Control. The presentation will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the School of Dentistry, Room 606.
The seminar will outline general lab safety, fire safety, and hazard communication regulations specific to the research environment at the School of Dentistry. The seminar cover specific issues regarding infection control in the clinical setting, particularly with regard to exposure to blood borne pathogens, and will be worth one hour of Dental Continuing Education credit for faculty clinicians.
