Improving communication about research administration
Faculty and staff are welcome to attend a new monthly forum that aims to improve communication about the business side of research. The new series, called RAIN: Research Administration Information Network, was developed to expand upon and replace the Sponsored Projects Information Network (SPIN).
Beginning with its first meeting this Thursday, September 16 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in UHS 8B-60, RAIN will provide updates and late-breaking news from the Research Integrity Office, Technology Transfer, Research Funding and Development Services, and the Clinical Trials Office, in addition to critical updates from Sponsored Projects Administration and Research Grants and Contracts. RAIN is intended to be the primary forum for staying up-to-date on the research administration world at OHSU.
RAIN will continue to meet the third Thursday of each month, except for December and August. It will also be streamed to the West Campus and available to watch after the meeting via the web. For more information, or to be included on future emails, contact research@ohsu.edu.
