Transgenic Core Facility: open for business

The Transgenic Core is fully operational once again. In fact, the new team has been performing its first new projects–these include gene targeting in ES cells, generating germ line ES cell chimeras, producing new ES cells from mutant mouse embryos, generating transgenic mice on inbred (C57Bl6/J) and hybrid backgrounds, cryopreservation of transgenic and knock-out mouse embryos, and more.
