Funding Focus: ARRA Administrative Supplements: What to know before you apply (Thurs., April 9 @12 p.m.)

Thursday, April 9th from 12:00pm – 1:00pm, MacHall 2201

Join us for this month’s Funding Focus: ARRA Administrative Supplements: What to know before you apply. This forum will be held on Thursday, April 9th, 2009 from 12:00 pm – 1:00pm in MacHall 2201. It’s open to all faculty, researchers, students, and research administrators at OHSU.

The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds are stimulating a buzz around campus. In addition to generating a lot of questions, the administrative supplements being offered by most institutes at the NIH pose one of the best opportunities for OHSU investigators to get additional funds to continue and increase their research. Come to this informal brownbag forum to talk to your colleagues, and listen to our informed panelists share advice, answer questions, and give guidance about what you need to know before you apply.

  • When: Thursday, April 9th, 2009
  • Time & Location: 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm, MacHall 2201
  • Panelists: Michael Andresen, PhD, Professor, Physiology & Pharmacology & Deb Golden-Eppelein, Director, Research Grants and Contracts

If you are unable to attend, handouts will be available on our website after the presentation.

This presentation is one of a series of workshops that Research Funding and Development Services (RFDS) offers throughout the year, designed to share advice, tips, and general information on funding for the OHSU research community; hosted by RFDS’s Rachel Dresbeck, Ph.D., director, & Amanda Horton, grant development specialist. No registration is necessary.
