Training for researchers who use Epic

Researchers who document information in Epic can now receive training on how to enter information into the integrated health record. Learning and Change Management now offers a 4 hour course in Epic Research Documentation, and it’s available to anyone working in a research capacity who needs to document information in Epic. Researchers who are going to enter clinical data and have received view-only training in Epic are required to take this course in order to receive documentation access in Epic.

Participants must complete the Fundamentals for Epic Users online course or an instructor-led class.

Currently, classes are offered on an as needed basis.  To sign up, coordinate a class for your group, or ask questions, contact:  Heart Training at x8-3340 or hearttrain@ohsu.edu.  If they receive consistent requests for this training, they will work on offering the course on a monthly basis.
