Mentorship Opportunity: Saturday Academy ASE Program for Summer Internships
Help build the Scientific Workforce of tomorrow, by mentoring with Saturday Academy’s ASE program this summer! Participation deadline: January 30, 2009
What is ASE?
Apprenticeships in Science & Engineering (ASE) matches 9th- 11th grade students with professionals within science & engineering organizations for 8-week, summer internships.
Cost to the mentor:
$2,200/intern- discount for multiple interns: $1,800/ intern. We encourage mentors to offer a student stipend if possible.
Does ASE get results?
On average, 73% of ASE students major in a field related to their internship. 76% stay in these sciences while 78%- who indulge in technical internships- declare technical majors.
