This past weekend, Portland fire crews were dispatched to Marquam Hill, not to put out a blaze…but to save one. OHSU Staff Choose Tram Cars Over Their Own Cars

In order to leave the roads clear for hospital patients and visitors during the Sam Jackson road closure, many OHSU employees took to bikes, sidewalks and the tram. So  what was it like during rush hour to “Go by Tram?” We shot a little video at around 5 p.m.   As you can see, the tram cars were full, yet nobody was left behind. That was the case pretty much all day long.

Goat by Tram

Talk about a green way to mow your lawn… This weekend, a team of six goats will be mowing the tall green grass below the Portland Aerial Tram tower near OHSU’s Center for Health and Healing. Families are invited to visit with the goats during their extended feeding time and while you’re at it, feel free to ride the tram for some great views of the city.
