Child Safety Seat Laws Accelerate in Oregon

The phones were really ringing at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Safety Center this week. Why? Parents were calling about new safety seat guidelines that went into effect Jan. 1 in Oregon. A Holiday Gift…that Gives All Year Round

It was a big day for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Today, the hospital received a year’s worth of toys for our child patients. The gift giver? Customers of Spirit Mountain Casino who donated toys for kids who will spend time at the hospital this upcoming year. Talk about a gift that keeps on giving! Here is some footage below:

The Holidays at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital – Part 2

We had another nice event at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital today. The Make a Wish Foundation made the season a bit merrier for kids and families who will be in the hospital during the holidays. They hosted a shopping spree for families to pick up free gifts and avoid having to leave the hospital and face the crowds. Even Santa made an appearance to chat with the kids and hand out stockings.
