Dr. Oz is Coming to OHSU
If your watched the NBA Finals last night or watched KATU News this morning, you may have heard about an exciting development.
Dr. Oz, of the syndicated Dr. Oz Show, is coming to OHSU in the near future. The show aires locally on channel 2, weekdays at 3 p.m.
We can’t tell you all the details just yet, but on Monday during their 4 p.m. newscast, KATU-TV will announce how Oregonians will get a chance to meet the good TV doctor face-to-face.
We’ll post more info on the blog next week. Stay tuned!
I have been a serious fan of Dr. OZ since he was on Oprah. No only has he made a practical bridge between medicine and man, but inspired millions to take a active role in their health. The pacific NW is known for it’s stellar bounty, natural salmon runs, growers of exceptionally healthy foods and the unique markets that sell them. Fish, salmon in particular has gone up in price and popularity all the way to Alaska, making some runs worth catching and marketing in new ways. I know that if Dr. Oz recommends a food or healthily additive on his show, no mater how obscure, it is sold out locally, and defiantly has an impact world wide. He has put others on our radar who also have a piece of the human health puzzle to offer.
Being a patient of OHSU and a indirect participant in their research studies, I’m proud that he is coming here to one of the best Medical University/Hospitals there is. Dr. Oz is a perfect example of how one person CAN inspire MILLIONS to know better and do better. (Thank you Oprah!)

I am also an admirer of Dr. OZ and his philosophy on health and wellness. It is great to see how him gets involved in the show and his open mindedness to alternative therapies to treat illness and preventative measures. I love his nonjudgmental attitude.
I would give anything to meet him!!
I am so excited that Dr. Oz is coming to Portland. I am 53 and have been diagnozed with severe Osteoporosis, Fibromyalgia and have constant migraine headaches which I take Imitrex daily for. I eat well and exercise daily. I hardly sleep and am constantly tired. I have gone to normal doctors, naturopaths, healers, you name it.
I believe Dr. Oz is coming to Portland based on my daily prayers and meditations. I would love to be able to meet him.
