Talkin’ Teeth

I'm Telling the Tooth...It's Mr. Molarman and friends!

I just heard about a neat event earlier this spring that might be of interest.

The OHSU School of Dentistry held it’s “Celebration of Smiles” in early March at the Portland Children’s Museum.

Almost 18-hundred people attended and took part in lots of events aimed at keeping kids’ smiles bright and healthy including:

  • Tips on caring for your teeth
  • Tooth fairy pillow making
  • Tooth mold painting

One of the most impressive things about the celebration was the large number of students who took part.

As we’ve mentioned in an earlier post, OHSU students are interested in reaching out to the public and that’s something we fully support and try to nurture.

Hopefully we prevented a few cavities that day while creating a fun family event.
