We just spotted this article about a major success story. In a sentence: Chickenpox deaths may be a thing of the past thanks to previous vaccination efforts.

Unless you have been on a distant planet for the past few years, you are likely aware of the autism controversies that have impacted parents’ decisions about whether to vaccinate their children.

A while back, we spoke with OHSU’s Dr. Mark Slifka of the OHSU Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute about vaccine benefits and concerns.
