Oregon’s Newest Nurses

OHSU's Monmouth Campus School of Nursing Grads

As we mentioned in a press release earlier this week, a new generation of health providers is graduating from OHSU to begin work in hospitals and clinics that will serve those who live within our state borders and beyond.

Ensuring that there are enough health providers around in the future is one of our core missions.  That’s why the OHSU School of Nursing has opened campuses in Ashland, Klamath Falls, La Grande and, most recently, Monmouth. Student training also is available at OHSU’s Marquam Hill Campus in Portland, and some courses are offered via a virtual online campus.

This year our total number of grads increased by at least 26 when OHSU’s first class of students from the Monmouth campus (near Salem) received their diplomas and pins.

Here’s more info about our Monmouth graduation…and some more images from ceremony.

Join us in congratulating the newest providers who will serve on the front lines of health care.
