An Inspiring Graduation Story

Once again, It’s graduation time at OHSU. However, this year, one of our School of Medicine graduates has a story that is anything but ordinary. The former medical student, now medical resident  is  Dr. Aleka Spurgeon-Heinrici.

Dr. Spurgeon-Heinrici overcame several major hurdles in order to become a physician. Her story is chronicled in today’s Oregonian – an inspiration for many of us on the hill.

Congratulations Aleka!
