The Oregon Chapter of the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL-Oregon) recently recognized OHSU Reference Librarian, Todd Hannon with its 2013 Award for Excellence. Todd’s work with rural Oregonians on the Community Research Enhancement and Education Development (CREED) project led to the award.
The ACRL Oregon Board felt that Todd’s work teaching community members about the role of literature searching in the research process played a vital role in translating librarianship into community empowerment in the service of public health.
OHSU’s Oregon Clinical & Translational Research Institute and the Oregon Rural Practice-Based Research Network partnered to carry out the CREED project. Congratulations Todd!
