Samuel L. Diack Science and Engineering Library Closing

The Samuel L. Diack Science and Engineering Library is closing on Friday, June 28. I would very much like to thank all the librarians and staff who have worked in the Diack Library over the years providing high quality service to Oregon Graduate Institute (OGI) and its various successor organizations. Closing a library is always a sad event, but we should also celebrate the people who helped make it a valuable information resource to the community.

The OHSU Library is committed to providing high quality services to all faculty, staff, and students, regardless of location. Those remaining on the former OGI campus can expect the same level of service as other off-campus patrons. It should not be necessary to travel to Marquam Hill to obtain OHSU Library services.

  • Patrons can receive and return books, journals, and Summit materials via campus mail. Questions about these services should be directed to 503-494-3460 or circdesk@ohsu.edu.
  • Interlibrary loan and photocopy questions should be directed to 503-494-2399 or libdoc@ohsu.edu.
  • Questions about theses and dissertations should be directed to Kris Roley at 503-494-0963 or roleyk@ohsu.edu.
  • Librarians are available to visit the campus for training or consultation. You can contact them at 503-494-3462 or refer@ohsu.edu.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
