Henry Stewart Talks Launches New Interface

The interface for finding online seminars from leading biomedical experts within the Henry Stewart Talks collection has been redesigned to make it easier to quickly find relevant audio visual presentations by leading authorities, including Nobel Laureates and OHSU faculty. The OHSU Library, with various other health sciences libraries, have joined USC’s health sciences library in conducting a technology survey of incoming students this fall. New Science and Engineering Library Hours

Starting Monday, September 24, 2012, the OHSU Science and Engineering Library (SEL) will be open Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-4:00pm. The SEL will continue to provide a full suite of services, including access to the print and electronic collections, reference support, book and journal checkout, paging, interlibrary loan, reserves, and access to OHSU workstations and the photocopier/scanner. Digital Resources Library-Downtime Notice

The M. Lowell Edwards Public History Project

With the support of the Edwards Lifesciences Fund, OHSU Library has improved access to archival material documenting the life and achievements of M. Lowell Edwards, co-inventor of the Starr-Edwards heart valve. OHSU Historical Collections & Archives, a department of the library, holds archival materials documenting Starr and Edwards’ achievement. These unique resources include photographs, manuscripts, publications, and artifacts. Good news for off-campus users

OHSU library proxy user authentication will be changing at 9am on October 2nd, 2012. You will be able to use your OHSU network username and password to access the Library’s electronic resources from off-campus. No need to apply for a barcode. No need to remember your barcode number. You will continue to use your library barcode for borrowing materials.

Learning Resource Center

The OHSU Library’s Learning Resource Center will located on the top floor of the western lecture hall pod in the atrium of the OHSU/OUS Collaborative Life Sciences Buidling (CLSB).
