CROET Director Search: Two Candidates
Following an extensive search involving over 180 contacts, the OHSU search committee recommended two candidates for the position of CROET Director. They are (alphabetical order):
Steven A. Shea, PhD
Associate Professor, Department of Medicine
Harvard Medical School
Helmut Zarbl, PhD
Professor, Department of Environmental and Occupational Medicine
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
Both candidates will present lectures in their area of science at OHSU. They will meet with OHSU faculty and the Vice president for Research, OHSU (who will make the final selection with input from the CROET and other OHSU faculty).
Dr. Zarbl will present his lecture in the week of September 26, and Dr. Shea will present in the week of October 10. Exact dates and times of the lectures will be listed in this blog and on the CROET website when available. The lectures will be open to the public, although audience space may be limited.
