Q: What will the meeting cover?

A: Meeting highlights of Biometal 2006 will cover advances in our understanding of
transport and trafficking of essential metals, the structure and
function of their corresponding compounds, their regulation and environmental
aspects. The role of these metals in metabolism and medicine will be discussed
as well.

Q: How do I register?

A: Registration is open at $600 and it runs through the meeting time. Please use the registration form here.

Q: Is hotel registration automatic?

A: No. Registration for lodging is completely separate from the symposium registration. We have negotiated a special package price for symposium participants. Please visit the lodging page for prices and information.

Q: What are my payment options?

A: You will be able to use all major credit cards, cashier's check, or money order.

Q: How do I get to the Resort in Welches?

A: An email will be sent at a later date to all registrants regarding travel arrangements from Portland International Airport to the Resort.

Q: Can I rent a car at the airport, and arrive independently?

A: Absolutely. If you need directions from Portland International Airport, email rosemi@ohsu.edu or call the resort directly at 1-800-733-0800.
