Below you can also view images of the MBS structure that were made based on the PDB file [MBS4 PDB]. The first one depicts the structure in ribbon format in different orientations (top, bottom, four side views). It marks the location of the two cysteines in the metal-binding site that coordinate copper and the location of the residue that sticks into the cavity below the cysteines. In MBS4, it is filled by a phenylalanine.
The corresponding figure showing electrostatic surface potential uses the same views as the figure with ribbons.
