Estrogen and Bcl-2: gene induction and effect of transgene in experimental stroke. J Neurosci. 2001 Oct 1;21(19):7543-50.It illustrates blood flow imaging during stroke in mice. Autoradiographic images from consecutive brain slices were color coded and stacked to illustrate the extent of blood flow reduction during stroke. The purple color corresponds to regions receiving very low or no blood flow, and the orange color represents regions receiving normal blood flow.
