In 2001, Cindee
Gray began her tenure at OHSU as Financial
Consultant charged with implementing a new finance
system in the Department of Anesthesiology and
Peri-Operative Medicine (APOM). In 2002, she
accepted a permanent position and shortly thereafter
was promoted to Research Administrator.
In this role,
Cindee is responsible for all business affairs of
APOM’s Research Division including financial
management, grant accounting and submission process,
human resources, and compliance. She collaborates
directly with the vice chair for research on matters
of strategic business planning and development as
well as recruitment of postdoctoral research fellows
and other members of the research team. In
addition, she represents the Department on several
committees at OHSU and is liaison with the Research
Support Office and Sponsored Projects
Administration.
Cindee received
the Bachelor of Science from Portland State
University in 1993. She came to OHSU from
Anesthesiologists Associated, Inc. where she was
Corporate Accounting and Client Trust Manager. She
also served as Controller in a private firm for five
years. Her favorite hobbies are singing, traveling,
and reading. |
