Kathy Gage joined the Department
of Anesthesiology and Peri-Operative Medicine (APOM)
at Oregon Health & Science University in April 2005
and was named Communications Manager later that
year.
In April 2007, Kathy began her
new role as Grant and Publications Writer in APOM’s
Research Division. Her responsibilities span
technical writing and editing on behalf of
department faculty for all grant applications,
articles that report our clinical and basic science
research findings in professional journals, and
textbook contributions.
Kathy received the Bachelor of
Science in Biology from Abilene Christian University
and has since held positions in applied medicine,
research, and executive support at private and
public universities and teaching hospitals in Texas,
North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New
York. These appointments afforded her experience in
writing grants, RFPs, scientific papers, public
documents, program reports, and dissertations.
For recreation, Kathy enjoys
reading, knitting, and outings with her husband and
two terriers, Duncan and Betsy. |
