We have recently formed an
exciting new partnership with Legacy Emanuel and
Good Samaritan Hospitals in Portland, Oregon for
those interested in doing both a Preliminary
Internal Medicine PGY-1 year as well as
Anesthesiology at OHSU in Portland. *Legacy and OHSU
have teamed up to accept 2 interns into Legacy's
Preliminary Internal Medicine program with the
expectation that those interns will continue on with
their anesthesiology training at OHSU.
To be considered for this
opportunity, you will need to apply to both programs
individually - The Legacy program for preliminary
internal medicine and OHSU for Anesthesia. Although
candidates will be applying to both programs,
interviews will be conducted by faculty, staff and
students at OHSU. However, a visit to Legacy Emanuel
can be arranged if requested.
If you have questions pertaining to this alliance,
please contact Marcia Kurtz at Legacy 503-413-7036,
or Amy Juve at OHSU 503-494-2405.
*Please note that the official
name of the program is Emanuel Hospital and Health
Center Program in ERAS.
