The AMSC’s trained staff provide resuscitation of mouse lines using frozen germplasm (embryos or sperm, IVF), and rederivation of mouse strains to specific pathogen-free status by embryo transfer.

Small animal services
The AMSC’s trained staff are available on an hourly basis to support animal husbandry and standardized experimental procedures such as tumor implantation, retroorbital injections and drug delivery via oral gavage or injection.
Cryopreservation and cryostorage
The Animal Model Support Core (AMSC) services includes cryopreservation of mouse embryos and sperm as well as long-term storage in dedicated cryo-freezers located at two separate sites.
