- HIPPA online training is required.
A valid CPR certificate is preferred.
- Familiarity with system power up, power down procedures.
- Complete MRI safety training. Familiarity with safety buttons: table stop, Magnet power off, quench button plus standard
fire alarm and door release.
- Able to identify RF shielding and magnetic shielding.
- Know the three basic components to get MR imaging (very homogeneous magnetic field, functioning
transmitting and receiving RF system, functioning gradient system).
- Able to register/close subject.
- Able to load a protocol.
- Able to change protocol properties (add a pause, change protocol name,
copy reference, etc.).
- Run localizer and application imaging sequences and able to resolve SAR and STIM related warning
without compromising studies.
- Access imaging quality by using online display or viewer card (assurance of successful
data acquisition).
- Data transfer and obtain hard copies (CD) at end of study.
- Aware how to report/record problems, logging use.
- Clean up after study.
- Manager approval, add to Operators list, then a key will be issued.
