SOAR: Science Outreach And Resources
MedStars - This summer residential experience for high school students is offered at Oregon Health and Science University and hosted by the AHEC Program Office. Interested students should contact their regional AHEC office for more details. Other programs offered through the regional AHEC centers include:
MedQuest - Each June, NEOAHEC brings together nearly thirty
high school age youth to attend a five-day residential camp at Eastern Oregon
University called MedQuest. The program is a "hands-on" exploration of health
care careers designed to introduce students who have completed 9th - 12th grade
to career opportunities in health care.
