Dennis Crawford, MD, PhD

Dr. Crawford joined the department in 2002 as an assistant professor.

Dr. Crawford's clinical and research interests include these areas:
  • sports injuries of the knee and shoulders in adults and children
  • dislocations and instability of the shoulder and knee
  • sports injuries of the upper and lower extremities
  • trauma to the clavicle, scapula, humerus, radius, and ulna
  • trauma to the femur or tibia
  • arthritis of the knee, hip, elbow, and shoulder

Funded Research: Artificial knee cartilage This study will determine the safety of a product created from autologous tissue that repairs damaged knee cartilage.
