Urogynecology
The R3 urogyn rotation consists of faculty clinic on Mondays, urodynamics on Tuesdays, surgery on Wednesdays and Thursdays, gyn ultrasound on Wednesday afternoons, resident lectures Friday mornings, and a resident urogyn clinic on Friday afternoons. This resident also rounds with the urogyn faculty on postop patients each morning, and participates in teaching conferences with assigned reading and clinical correlations weekly. The resident on this service generally operates with the attending or the fellow, with the attending scrubbing on every case but often second assisting.
