Good Samaritan Hospital
This R2 rotation is with a gyn oncologist in private practice, Dr. Paul Tseng, and again is a highly valued rotation as Dr. Tseng operates alone with the R2, allowing that resident to perform his or her side of hysterectomies, lymph node dissections, debulkings, etc, as appropriate. When Dr. Tseng does not have cases scheduled the resident is free to scrub on other benign gyn cases with private attendings. This resident takes at home beeper call for Dr. Tseng’s admissions only and generally is called into the hospital once or twice per rotation.
